What's New in UD6 2.1.05

If you are currently using a version of UD6 prior to 1.03 (non-beta) then you must first upgrade to UD6 1.3.xx before upgrading to UD6 2.1.

New to UD6 2.1.05 are:

• Improved performance
• Uniface NINE (9.1.x, 9.2.x, 9.3.x) support

New to UD6 2.1.03 are:

• By default different global object types are clustered differently depending on their most common uses.
• By default relationships are clustered by Model name and Sub-Type name.
• Support for UNC paths for XML and MAKE files
• Improved performance
• Uniface 8.4 support

New to UD6 Option Pack 2.1.01 are:

• Build Management with the automatic creation of a standard MAKEFILE.
• Includes GNU MAKE.
• ISAM driver for storing BINARY entities
• Enhanced XMLGREP
• Can find a conceptual/model field
• Globally change the painted, interface, layout and syntax length of a field
• Case insensitive/sensitive search selection.
• User definable editor.
• Ability to auto checkout files before performing "replace" action.
• Result tree right click actions Open, IDF, Checkout.
• Option to display lines "around" XMLGREP results as tooltip.

New users should use UD6 2.1.05 as your first installation.

Recommendations for existing users:

Existing users should plan to upgrade to UD6 2.1.05 as soon as possible. If you anticipate migrating after June 2004 then you should use UD6 1.3.15 or later until you are able to migrate to 2.1.05.
